Members of the public and the press are entitled to attend all council meetings.

Except in the case of special urgency, the Council will give at least 5 clear days notice of any meeting by posting details at the Civic Centre.

Exceptional circumstances

Members of the public will be excluded from meetings whenever it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that exempt or confidential information would be disclosed.
