A temporary HWRC site is available on the City of Wolverhampton Car Park, Science Park WV10 9TW. This is a small capacity site and should be used for essential journeys only. This site will operate a maximum capacity of 6 cars on a one in, one out basis. The temporary site can accept the following waste types only:
- General bagged waste
- Dry mixed recycling
- Garden Waste
- Large Appliances
- Fridges
- Small appliances
- Soft furnishings
- Mattresses
- Vehicle Batteries
- Tyres
This site will be available from 9am to 3pm, 7 days per week.
The site is for access by cars only and you will be required to provide two forms of ID in line with current requirements.
All General Bagged Waste, Dry Mixed Recycling and Garden Waste items will need to be able to fit into a standard size wheelie bin. Larger items should be taken to the Anchor Lane site.
If you are using our temporary site, please be prepared to queue and follow instruction from the employees on site.
Full HWRC facilities remain in place at Anchor Lane HWRC, Anchor Lane, Lanesfield, Bilston, WV14 9NE where additional employees have been allocated to assist you.
