In Wednesfield Town you’ll find a number of council-owned car parks, some offer free parking, others have restrictions.

Free all day parking every day from 8th December up to and including 3rd January.

 Offer applies to the Council Car Parks only. No Pay and Display ticket or RingGo parking session required.

Please note, there are no concessions for Blue Badge Holders on Council Car Parks where charges apply.

Obtaining a Pay & Display ticket

Please note, to take advantage of the 3 hours free parking you must obtain a Pay & Display ticket or activate a RingGo session.

This will validate your time of arrival, also confirm your departure time, and prevent the service of a Penalty Charge Notice.

The Council operates a Seasonal Parking Scheme and Residential Parking Scheme for some car parks in Wednesfield Town.

Permits are not valid for use on Woodhouse Fold Car Park A (Steph Clarke)

Seasonal parking permit

Seasonal Parking Permits can be purchased on a 3 monthly, 6 monthly or 12 monthly basis at a cost of £17.50 per month

Permits can be purchased for:

  • Woodhouse Fold Car Park B (Battle of Wodensfield)
  • Woodhouse Fold Car Park C (William ‘Harry’ Busby)
  • Alfred Squire Road Car Park

Once you complete the following form, we will contact you by phone to confirm availability and take payment via credit or debit card.

Please allow 7 working days for permits to be processed. This applies to new applications and renewal applications.

Terms and Conditions
  • Permits are not valid whilst parking on Woodhouse Fold Car Park A (Steph Clarke).
  • We issue parking permits for specific vehicles. You must clearly display your permit in the vehicle's passenger side windscreen.
  • A space will not be reserved or guaranteed in the car park.
  • You can buy permits every 3 months, 6 months or 12 months.
  • If we need to close a car park, your permit will be valid to use on any of the other council car parks within Wednesfield. This does not include Woodhouse Fold Car Park A (Steph Clarke).
  • We review charges each year. The Council will endeavour to notify users in advance of any increase in charges.
  • The Council may stop the use of permits at any time. We will make the appropriate refund.
  • You are responsible for submitting a permit renewal before your existing permit expires. Please allow at least 7 working days for us to process and issue a permit. We will only issue permits after payments have cleared.
  • We can only consider refunds from the date the Car Park Office receive the permit. Please post to the PO Box address provided below. Do not hand to car park attendants.
  • If you change your vehicle or misplace the permit we will issue a new permit (£10.00 admin fee will apply). You must return the old permit to the Parking Services office. We will not accept amended permits.
  • We will only consider requests once we have received both a completed form and payment.

  • 127 to 139 Neachells Lane

Applying for a permit

Please complete the form below to submit your application. Please note: before completing the form you will need copies of:

  • proof of address (e.g. Council Tax bill, utility bill or tenancy agreement)
  • proof of vehicle ownership (you must provide this for each vehicle)

You will need to upload these at the end of the form.

Once you have provided all the relevant evidence, the Car Park team will contact you to make payment.

You will need to do this via a credit or debit card. This will complete the application process.
