#OurWorld features a display of work by members of ArtForum Gold, a group who meet regularly at the gallery to gain an art qualification outside of formal education, alongside work from Re-Entry and submissions by young people from across the city.
They have worked with the gallery's Cultural Learning Team to develop pieces which answer the question, What makes #OurWorld what it is today?
The works also explore the relationship between art and politics and consider young people's views on how they see today's world.
Young people can take part in two special workshops taking place on the day, portrait photography with Jack Nelson and digital design with local WeMakeArt artist Adam Guy.
Politics features later in the day with the official launch of the Make Your Mark ballot at the gallery. Over the coming weeks, young people will be able to vote on the issues they want their local Youth MPs to campaign on, and the shortlisted topics will be discussed in debating sessions at the gallery throughout the afternoon.
#OurWorld is suitable for people aged 14 to 25, begins at 10am and entry is free. Please note that young people aged 14 to 18 will need their parents or guardians to sign a form at the gallery upon arrival.
