The City of Wolverhampton Council and Krazy Races events organisers, Sarah Belcher Ltd, have confirmed that the popular event will be back in the city on Sunday 1 September, 2024.
City of Wolverhampton Council Cabinet Member for Visitor City, Councillor Bhupinder Gakhal, said: “We want people to visit and enjoy our city centre from the moment they arrive, and Krazy Races is exciting and great fun for family and friends to enjoy together, growing in popularity every year.
“I’m pleased to see Krazy Races return to Wolverhampton for its third year in a row, bringing its vibrancy to the City along with crowds of enthusiastic fans which, in turn, helps local businesses flourish. I look forward to next year’s Krazy Races and seeing the inventive karts teams come up with.
“We have worked together with the race organisers to ensure that we offer a fun, safe experience for all to enjoy and I wish Wolves Krazy Races 2024 every success.”

“Our 2023 event was our second visit to Wolverhampton and we were blown away with the amount of people who came out to support it. We have been inundated with locals and businesses asking for us to return and we are so excited to see what the Krazy Wolverhampton teams and businesses come up with next year.
“A massive part of our event is raising money for local charities and our Wolverhampton event raised nearly £20,000 for local causes which is incredible!
“We would like to say a massive thankyou to The City of Wolverhampton Council and all our amazing sponsors, teams and spectators who have invited us back to your incredible City. ”
Organisers are looking for a good mix of competitors with places for up to 40 teams from local businesses, charities, families and friends to be participate.
