Its popular coffee mornings for families of children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) are moving into the City of Wolverhampton Council's Strengthening Families Hubs.
The next one takes place at Low Hill Strengthening Families Hub, Fourth Avenue, Wolverhampton WV10 9LZ on Tuesday (5 July) from 10am, and all are welcome.
Sarah Baker, Chair of Voice4Parents, said: "We are very excited about moving to the Strengthening Families Hubs which will help make us much more accessible to local families.
"We are beginning our new programme at Low Hill on Tuesday and we will be branching out to other Strengthening Families Hubs in the near future. We are looking forward to seeing as many of our SEND families as possible."
Councillor Chris Burden, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Education, Skills and Work, said: "We are delighted to be able to make our network of Strengthening Families Hubs available to Voice4Parents for their regular coffee morning events, giving families of children and young people with SEND the chance to get together, share their experiences and take some time out for themselves."
Voice4Parents are a group of parents and carers of children and young people with SEND living in Wolverhampton. The organisation is a member of the Wolverhampton SEND Partnership Board and works closely with the council, health providers and other organisations feeding back the experiences of parents and carers to help shape services which better meet their needs.
