There will be 6 events taking place on the day, all starting from West Park.
While the Callprint Walk in the Park and Children's Mini Marathon are based within the park, the 26 mile Carver Wolverhampton Marathon, the 13 mile Carver Half Marathon, the Banks's 10k Run and the Cousins 20k Cycle Event all follow routes through Whitmore Reans, Pendeford, Aldersley and Oxley and therefore a number of temporary road closures are required to ensure the safety of competitors.
Bath Road, Southgate, Park Crescent, Park Road East, Albert Road, Riches Street up to Avondale Road and parts of Park Road West will be closed from 8am until approximately 3.30pm, while the rest of Park Road West, Connaught Road and Summerfield Road will be closed from 8am until approximately 10am.
The A41 Tettenhall Road will be closed between Chapel Ash and Paget Road from 8.30am until around 10am, as will Waterloo Road northbound from the Ring Road to the junction with Newhampton Road East. Ring Road St Andrew's will be reduced to a single lane in a clockwise direction at this time.
Both Newhampton Road East and West, Park Avenue, Lansdowne Road, Devon Road, Kingsland Road, Court Road and Hordern Road between Tring Court and Crowther Road will be shut from 8.30am until approximately 10.30am, while Crowther Road, Hordern Road between Crowther Road and Aldersley Road, and Aldersley Road between Lower Street and Hordern Road will be closed from 8.45am until approximately 2.30pm.
Aldersley Road/Oxley Moor Road will be closed from the junction with Hordern Road and Renton Road from 8.45am until approximately 1pm, as is Blackburn Avenue. Finally, the Droveway will be closed between the junction with Ryefield and Leybourne Crescent between 9.30am and around 2pm.

All proceeds from the events go to local charities including Compton Hospice, Wolverhampton Rheumatology Support Group, The Haven Wolverhampton and the Mayor of Wolverhampton's chosen charities, which include the MS Therapy Centre in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton Samaritans and Help For Heroes.
