The 4 day programme is packed full of guided tours as buildings open their doors to the public, and places can be reserved now.
Free activities on offer include tours of Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Bilston Craft Gallery, Compton Hospice, the Mayor's Parlour, Light House Cinema's projection room and Barnhurst Sewerage Works, while Bantock House Museum's 1940s room will also be opened to the public giving people the chance to find out how the Bantock Family lived.
The National Trust's Wightwick Manor and Gardens and Moseley Old Hall will be opening its doors for free as will a host of places of worship, including All Saints Church, the Buddha Vihara Buddhist Temple in Penn Fields, St Leonards' Church, Bilston, St John's Church in the Square, St Mary's and St John's Church in Snow Hill and St Peter's Collegiate Church.
People can also investigate 3 churches designed by local architect Richard Twentyman; St Andrew's Church in Whitmore Reans, St Martin's Church in Dixon Street and the Church of the Good Shepherd in Castlecroft.
Heritage Open Days runs from Thursday to Sunday, 11 to 14 September 2014. Dates and times for tours and venue openings vary. Places on the guided tours must be reserved in advance and are available on a first come, first served basis. To book, please contact the individual venues directly.

Councillor Elias Mattu, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for Leisure and Communities, said: "The Heritage Open Days programme allows people to delve into Wolverhampton's past and discover unknown secrets about the city.
"It is always a very popular event, and with many of the tours being guided, people will have the chance to ask questions and really learn something new about our city."
