Tunes from the Trenches is being brought to Bilston Craft Gallery by a string quartet from the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra - and has been designed for primary aged children and their families.
The Stringcredibles will jump 100 years into history, to the year 1914, to show their audience why the war started, what it was like and how it sounded.
With projected visuals from the Imperial War Museum, excerpts from Michael Morpurgo's acclaimed novel War Horse and the award winning Archie's War by Marcia Williams, this is a fantastic way to introduce children to the world of classical music and inspire a passion for history in young minds.
Tunes from the Trenches takes place from 1pm to 2pm and is free. Booking is recommended as spaces are limited; please visit Type=links;Linkid=4781;Title=Wolverhampton Arts & Heritage;Target=_blank; to reserve places.
