The contestant, whose identity is not being revealed before the Summer Inspirations Women's Fashion Show but is a good friend of one of the charities which will benefit from the event, is expected to be in the audience.
Wolverhampton Mayor Councillor Milkinder Jaspal has teamed up with The Fashion Show Company to stage the catwalk show from 7pm on Thursday 8 May, 2014, and tickets are available now.
A team of professional models will showcase the latest trends from Primrose Hill in Shifnal and Aristocats of Bridgnorth, while Wolverhampton's very own Gok Wan, Libby Walton of Styling You, will be on hand to offer styling tips and advice.
Away from the catwalk, Sugar Budz will demonstrate what happens when you add a little bit of imagination to cake decorating.
Mayor Councillor Jaspal said: "The fashion show promises to be an excellent event which we hope will inspire women to refresh their wardrobes.
"We'll also be raising plenty of money for my 3 chosen charities, Guide Dogs, St Peter's Collegiate Church and the Black Country branch of the MS Society, along the way.
"And just like the star studded London Fashion Week, I'm delighted that we'll also expecting to welcome a celebrity into the audience for our own show. He's a good friend of one of the charities and has promised to come along to lend his support."
Tickets are priced at £15 per person, including a glass of Prosecco and light refreshments, and must be booked in advance. For more information please call the Mayor's Office on 01902 554090 or e-mail mayoral@wolverhampton.gov.uk.
