On Monday 3 April, the Hayward Suite at Molineux Stadium, Waterloo Road, WV1 4QR, is the venue for the 'Meet the Health and Social Care Commissioner' event.
It will provide businesses with the opportunity to meet social care commissioners, get early information about contract opportunities, find out how to win more business, and give their input on how services could be designed and delivered more efficiently.
Registration is at 1.30pm for a 2pm start and proceedings will end at 3.30pm.
Councillor John Reynolds, City of Wolverhampton Council Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: "This is great networking event for local businesses to get involved in.
"The public sector in the City of Wolverhampton buys over £500 million of goods, services and works each year, and there was a combined spend last year of over £100 million with local suppliers. Together we are committed to increasing support for local businesses and creation of opportunities for local people.
"The council is keen to encourage development of local markets - and tendering for a contract with the council is not as complicated as you might think."
