Councillor Milkinder Jaspal will be encouraging people to put their little grey cells to the test when he hosts the general knowledge quiz at Linden House, Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton, on Thursday 24 October, 2013.
Prizes will be on offer for the best and worst performing teams and all proceeds will go to the Mayor's three chosen charities, Guide Dogs, St Peter's Collegiate Church and the Black Country Branch of the MS Society.
There are still a few places left and Mayor Councillor Jaspal said: "This event is a great chance for brainboxes to enjoy a great night out and also raise money for 3 very good causes at the same time.
"So if you fancy putting yourselves against the best that Wolverhampton has to offer, why not pull together a team and have a go?
"It's just a bit of fun and while there will be prizes up for grabs, the real winners will be my 3 chosen charities."
Places are now available for teams of up to 4 people, priced £20 per team, while meals, including chicken and chips, fish and chips and vegetarian lasagne, can be pre-booked for £6 per person. Places must be reserved in advance - please contact the Mayor's Parlour on 01902 554090 or email themayor@wolverhampton.gov.uk for more information.
