And over 1,700 city residents poured through the doors to take advantage of the chance to look at the 4,000 positions on offer.
The event was organised as part of the build up to Wolverhampton Business Week and was held in the WV1 Suite at Molineux Stadium.
More employers than ever attended, with over 60 from across Wolverhampton on hand to showcase the jobs available.
They included Adecco, Debenhams, Wolverhampton Homes, McDonalds, Magna Specialist Confectioners, Radis Community Care, Premium Choice, and the Armed Forces, among many others.
Representatives from City of Wolverhampton Council and city partners were on hand to highlight the ongoing support available to job seekers.
Recently-launched one stop shop website - Workbox - was also showcased as a vital tool in providing access to flexible and customised provision to prepare people better for work and enable employers to contribute by designing bespoke training to ensure a larger proportion of people become job ready over time - creating a more reliable local labour supply.
And Wolverhampton's 'Impact' team were present, offering advice and support to young adults aged between 16 and 29 who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET). This project is funded by the European Social Fund.
Councillor John Reynolds, City of Wolverhampton Council Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: "We are delighted with the number of city jobseekers we were able to empower by attracting them to the fair.
"We have also received very positive feedback from the employers that exhibited, who appreciate the economic regeneration priorities of the city.
"They were impressed by the people they met.
"It is vital everyone in the city continues working together to increase employment levels and opportunities because Wolverhampton is a great place to live, work, visit and do business."
