The Multiply courses are designed to give people the maths knowledge, skills and confidence they need to help improve their financial wellbeing and, during the open day, people will be able to come in and take part in some short Multiply activities.
The open day takes place on Saturday 24 June, 2023 from 10am to 2pm, at Adult Education Wolverhampton’s Old Hall Street headquarters in Wolverhampton city centre.
Visitors will also be able to speak to staff about courses and careers, take a tour of the facilities, see a craft fair featuring work by students on its Setting Up a Creative Business course, take part in a range of have a go family activities and get information on travel, finance and student support.
Councillor Louise Miles, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Jobs and Skills, said: "Adult Education Wolverhampton courses offer many ways for adult learners to gain the essential skills required to either get a job or change career.
“Whatever your situation, the open day will give you the chance to speak to friendly and knowledgeable staff who can guide you onto a programme of study which is at the right level and suits your needs, interests and ambitions – so please come along and find out more.
“You will also be able to take part in a Multiply taster session, with Adult Education Wolverhampton holding a full Multiply programme throughout July open to anyone who wants to make changes that may help them deal with the cost of the living crisis.”
