Wolverhampton Pride is returning to the City on Saturday 10 June. Organised by City of Wolverhampton Council in partnership with Enjoy Wolverhampton Business Improvement District, Wolverhampton Homes, Gorgeous Radio, X2Y, Wolverhampton LGBT+, The White Hart and Gorgeous Nightclub and Arena Theatre, it aims to be a day when all are able to come together to celebrate, honour and show support for the LGBT+ community.
Director of Communications and Visitor Experience at City of Wolverhampton Council, Ian Fegan, said: “We are delighted that McCain is Wolverhampton Pride’s latest sponsor, joining us in our endeavour to reach across the City and local communities so that as many as possible can enjoy this year’s Pride.
Sean O’Leary, Plant Manager at the McCain factory in Womborne said, “We’re thrilled to be part of Wolverhampton Pride. We wanted to support our local LGBTQ+ community and this year’s event will be a fantastic day out to celebrate all our diversity with Pride.”
Pride will feature a wide range of entertainment and activities including headline acts Scott Mills, Baga Chipz, The Fizz and a host of local acts, along with the iconic parade which will be kick off celebrations for the day.
