PC Joe Trusselle, from Wolverhampton Police, said: "Last year's event was a real success with around 4,000 visitors from across the city, and we were able to raise vital funds for local charities in the process.
"With pony rides, inflatable assault courses and bouncy castles, sports sessions and of course guest appearances by children's favourites from TV and cinema, it's bound to be fantastic fun for all the family."
Councillor John Reynolds, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: "We are delighted to support this ever popular event which provides a great day out for the whole community."
Entry is free and money raised from charity raffles will go to Wolverhampton Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre and the Wolverhampton branch of the Parachute Regiment.
