The annual City of Wolverhampton ideas festival will be hosted at the Newhampton Arts Centre, Dunkley Street, WV1 4AN, between 10am and 1.30pm.
It is open to anyone in the city who has an idea on how to change the City of Wolverhampton for the better. No idea is too big or too small, provided participants are prepared to own it and drive it forward.
Shareable is a non profit media outlet and action network that empowers people to share and inspire social change by publishing stories, analysis, and tools in collaboration with global partners.
"I can't wait for my first trip to Wolverhampton," said Llewellyn.
"Community driven events like Make:Shift are in total alignment with Shareable's mission to empower communities to create resilient, equitable, joyful, and sharing cities."
Make:Shift 2018 will also see the launch of 'Wolverhampton for Everyone: A People Powered City' - an initiative that will develop new community activities across the city and will support local communities to do the same.
There will also be an update on funding opportunities through Crowd Fund Wolves for community projects and new and emerging social enterprises.
City of Wolverhampton Council Cabinet Member for City Economy, Councillor John Reynolds, added: "The people of Wolverhampton never let us down when it comes to creativity - and we are delighted we can help foster the wealth of ideas put forward.
"At Make:Shift people are genuinely interested in hearing about and getting behind any idea, big or small, that will make the City of Wolverhampton a better place to live.
"If you have an idea, I'd urge you to get involved and join a network of friendly and like minded people who can help you to turn your vision into a reality."
