The week runs from Saturday 1 April to Friday 7 April and includes a range of drop in events to help participants get a job, improve their skills, find the right home or improve their health.

Helen Child, Chief Officer at Citizens Advice Wolverhampton, said: "The City of Wolverhampton has so much to offer, it's a great place to live, learn and work and help local people to get support to reach their potential.
"Together, partners across the city have arranged a wide ranging programme of events to help people compete for jobs, become self employed, develop their skills, improve their health, and find the right home."
Councillor Peter Bilson, City of Wolverhampton Council Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for City Housing and Assets added: "Supporting residents into jobs, providing education and skills, delivering housing, and improving the health and wellbeing of local people are top priorities for the city.
"Dozens of organisations and businesses have come together for Residents Week 2017 to set up events, where the ongoing services available to people are showcased to raise awareness."
WV Active is running a free day of fun taster activities on 1 April to help residents improve their health and fitness.
This is followed the next day by the city's first Housing Fair, sponsored by WV Living, on Sunday 2 April, between 11am and 3.30pm. The free event will take place at Wolverhampton Art Gallery on Lichfield Street.
If you're looking to learn, the Apprenticeship Show is being held at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Tuesday 4 April, between 4pm and 7pm.
Pay a visit to the Ready, Steady, Learn! Adult Education Service showcase, on Thursday 6 April.
Get advice and support about becoming self employed from Access to Business, at the Mander Centre's Upper Mall on Thursday 6 April.
Businesses can also learn more at the 'Tendering and Winning Business in the Health and Social Care Sector' event, at Molineux Stadium, on Monday 3 April, while Small and Medium Enterprises can get the lowdown on recruiting apprentices at the Apprenticeship Show.
In the world of work, industry experts Learn Play Foundation and Skills Training UK will be discussing how to forge a career in digital and social media, in one hour bookable sessions for 16 to 19 year olds, at the Connexions Centre, Salop Street, on Wednesday 5 April.
A 'Get a Job in Care' event is being held at Molineux Stadium, from 9.30am to 1pm, on the same day.
Volunteering also comes under the spotlight in an information event at the Mander Centre's Upper Mall on Friday 7 April, between 10am and 3pm.
This is the third City of Wolverhampton Residents Week and is part of a drive to improve opportunities, prosperity and health for residents, as well as raise the profile of the city, its people and opportunities, as part of city conference season.
