The City of Wolverhampton Council's Customer Services team will be holding a series of digital support sessions to help parents and guardians complete their applications for reception class places.

The application window for pupils who are due to start reception in September 2025 is now open and parents and guardians have until 15 January, 2025 to complete theirs.

Parents and guardians should log on to School admissions to complete the short application process.

Anyone who needs support applying is invited to attend one of the School Application Surgeries being held at the Civic Centre, St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton, WV1 1SH on Thursdays 12 December, 19 December, 2 January and 9 January, all of which run from 10am to 2pm.

Councillor Obaida Ahmed, Cabinet Member for Digital and Community, said: "As a parent with young children myself I understand that applying for reception class places is an important part of your children’s future.

"Should you like any support, please come along to one of the surgeries where our Customer Services team will be able to help you with any queries you may have.”

Applying online has a range of benefits. Applications are made through a secure website and can be viewed and edited online up to the closing date of 15 January, 2025. Parents and guardians will be notified of their child’s allocated Reception school place on 16 April 2025, rather than having to wait for the post.
