Hats created by Wolverhampton Adult Education Service student Jayne Lightfoot took the top 3 places in a competition to find the best headwear on show at the racecourse.
Her collection ranged from simple but effective head pieces to extravagant full brim designs.
Tutor Bethune Matthews said: "I am so proud of my millinery students, they have demonstrated a multitude of skills in their array of designs.
"It's our third year of attending a ladies' day event at different race tracks around the country, and for the third year running my students have successfully been placed in the best dressed category. This year resulted in an outstanding overall win for Jayne, whose bespoke creations were placed in first, second and third places."
Jayne has attended millinery classes run by the Adult Education Service for the last 3 years, going on to launch her own millinery business, Jayne Alison Millinery. To see more of Jayne's designs, please visit Type=links;Linkid=6273;Title=Jayne Alison Millinery;Target=_blank;.
Councillor Claire Darke, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for Education, added: "I'd like to say a massive congratulations to Jayne on her big win at the races."
