Voluntary groups working with children and young people in Wolverhampton are being encouraged to apply for funding to deliver arts, crafts and cultural activities and workshops during the October half term.

The Yo! Wolves programme will be offering a range of opportunities to children and young people during the school break, and voluntary organisations and community clubs are being invited to apply for funding from the City of Wolverhampton Council to deliver them.

Applications must be in by midday on Friday 20 September, 2024. For more information about how to apply email haf@wolverhampton.gov.uk.

The activities will form part of the October half term offer to the city’s children and young people and be promoted on the Yo! Wolves website.

Councillor Coogan, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Education, said: “It’s fantastic news that we are able to continue to fund organisations across the city to provide youngsters with an exciting programme of Yo! activities during the school holidays.

“We have seen such positive results from our previous holiday programmes, and we want to ensure we keep this momentum going. I would encourage any voluntary organisation or community clubs in Wolverhampton which provide services to young people to consider applying by 20 September.
