Wolverhampton City Council's Outdoor Events team is organising fun and frolics to celebrate Bonfire Night at Hickman Park on Friday (1 November, 2013) with the action moving to West Park on Saturday (2 November, 2013).
Gates for both shows open at 6pm with fireworks displays especially for children beginning at 7pm. The bonfires will be lit at 7.30pm by the Mayor of Wolverhampton Councillor Milkinder Jaspal and the main displays to music begin at 8.30pm. There will also be fun fairs, bouncy castles and trade and refreshment stalls at both venues.
Councillor Elias Mattu, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for Leisure and Communities, said: "Wolverhampton's bonfire and fireworks displays are hugely popular and great fun for all the family, with fabulous music and fantastic fairground attractions.
"We are expecting big crowds at both Hickman Park and West Park so we'd advise people to get there early to claim their spot."
Tickets for each event are £4 for adults and £3 for children, with under twos going free, and can be bought on the gate.
