The Best Foot Forward Challenge is being organised by the Rotary Club of Wolverhampton to raise money for Children in Need, Compton Hospice and the Rotary Charitable Trust.
Aldersley Leisure Village will play host to the 12 hour event which starts at 8am on Saturday 13 July.
The charity pot has already been made up with donations from local companies and every lap of the Aldersley track that each person completes releases £1 to the 3 charities.
Councillor Elias Mattu, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Communities, said: "It's always nice to see people raise money and donate to charity.
"This event will be a great way for members of the public to show their good will and just complete a lap of the track, there couldn't be an easier way of making donations to charity."
Although people do not need to make donations to the 3 charities to take part in the event, you can still raise money if you wish to do so.
