City of Wolverhampton Council, in partnership with NHS’ The Solihull Approach, offers free access to inourplace evidence based online courses designed by NHS professionals.
Courses are tailored for all stages of a child’s development to help all family members through reflective, supportive learning without judgment.
Councillor Jasbir Jaspal, the City of Wolverhampton Council’s Cabinet Member for Adults and Wellbeing, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for our residents and families across the city to learn more about taking control of their health and wellbeing for not only themselves but their children, too.
These new, free online learning courses are just one of the ways we’re doing that, and I fully encourage parents, teens, grandparents and those expecting a baby to make full use of these extremely helpful and accessible online learning courses to understand and help your child with the challenges they face from birth to being a teen to help raise them to be emotionally aware, sociable and confident.”
The online resources include specialist emotional and mental health learning for teenagers, courses for grandparents and parents.
