Led by Adam Dacey, the founder of Mindspace who has over 30 years’ experience of training in meditation, they will be taking place at the Bob Jones Community Hub in Blakenhall on Wednesday (11 September) from 12.30am to 1.30pm, Central Library on Tuesday 17 September from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and Bilston Library on Wednesday 18 September from noon to 1pm.
The sessions are suitable for absolute beginners and involve a guided meditation, presentation and a Q&A. No special clothing or equipment is required.
Councillor Obaida Ahmed, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Digital and Community, said: "These free mindfulness and meditation taster sessions are a natural and effective solution for people of all ages and backgrounds to reduce stress and anxiety and discover calm and balance."

This is the latest in a series of events being delivered by Wolverhampton’s library service as part of the Department of Culture, Media and Sport funded Know your Neighbourhood scheme, aimed at boosting volunteering opportunities, tackling isolation and connecting people to their local communities.
