The event will take place at Sir Jack's restaurant on Tuesday 19 March from 6.30pm and anyone interested in finding out more about this rewarding role is invited to book a free place at Molineux Information Evening.
Guests will be welcomed by the Fostering for Wolverhampton team and introduced to some of the city's existing foster carers who will share their own experiences of fostering.
Councillor Paul Sweet, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: "There are many fantastic foster families in Wolverhampton, giving hundreds of children the best possible start in life by offering them a supportive environment in a loving home.
"But we urgently need more as there are dozens of children waiting for a home; hopefully through this event we will find a few more who are suitable to take on this vital role."
This event forms part of Live, Learn, Work, the fourth City of Wolverhampton Residents Programme of events during March.
It is also one of over 50 fostering recruitment sessions which are planned for this year. For more details, please visit Fostering events or call 01902 551133.
