Wolverhampton is set to take centre stage as a fresh new music experience arrives in the heart of the city next April, and tickets go on sale at 6pm today (Thursday 5 December).

Feel The Noise, a brand new multi venue festival, has announced the first details of its inaugural 2025 event, which is heading to Wolverhampton on Saturday 19 April, 2025 with a stacked bill spread across city centre venues including the iconic University of Wolverhampton at The Wulfrun Hall.

This exciting project between the City of Wolverhampton Council, Wolves Foundation and Sound City is a venue hopping music festival, bringing a fresh experience with exciting artists at the forefront of the Indie music scene.

Acts such as the K’s, The Clause, The Covasettes, Alex Spencer, The Rolling People, Cheap Thrills and Little Juke have been announced as the first wave of artists joining the bill, with many more to come.

Purchasing a festival ticket will give access to all venues taking part in the festival with a wristband allowing you to hop around different venues to see your favourite bands, the same as you would visit different stages at an outdoor festival.

Feel The Noise has received £25,000 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund as well as support from partners at Wolves Foundation and the council.

As part of the festival, a seminar with industry experts will take place to highlight opportunities and give advice to those wanting to join the music industry – more details will be made available soon.

Councillor Chris Burden, Cabinet Member for City Development, Jobs, and Skills said: “We are incredibly excited to be working with Sound City and Wolves Foundation to bring a new music festival to Wolverhampton, contributing to the vibrant music scene that already exists in the city.

“It’s all about positioning Wolverhampton as a destination of choice, attracting visitors, championing local talent, highlighting iconic venues and putting on an experience for residents and anyone visiting our city.

“As well as this, it’s about creating opportunities for our young people who have an interest in this industry and want to take the next steps and kick start their own career.

“I’d really encourage everyone to purchase tickets, show your support and join us in the city centre as we experience a full day of live music from top artists.”

Kieron Ansell, Business Development Manager at Wolves Foundation said: “Wolves Foundation work very closely with the council on a wide variety of projects across Wolverhampton with the objective of raising the wellbeing and prosperity of the city and our residents.

“Wolves Foundation operate under the mantra of creating opportunities and changing lives and we see our support of Feel the Noise as an exciting extension of that relationship.

“We are determined that Feel the Noise will bring a number of really positive outcomes – actively contributing to a vibrant live music scene that in turn supports instilling Wolverhampton as a destination, affording young people  the chance to understand the diversity of opportunity within the industry and how to take positive steps towards starting a career journey via the seminar being delivered as part of the festival, and of course the opportunity to showcase incredible local talent on amazing stages at iconic venues.

“We are jointly extremely proud to help bring this to life after months of planning and we’re incredibly excited to see visitors and residents alike revelling in the joy of live music. None of this would have been possible without the huge contribution of our delivery partners at Sound City.”

Early bird tickets for this event start at £27 and go on sale today (Thursday 5 December) at 6pm via See tickets or AXS tickets.
