There will be spooky goings on and a pumpkin parade for youngsters. The fun gets underway from 6pm with a special fireworks show for children at 7pm, lighting cauldrons at 7.30pm, and the main fireworks display at 8.30pm.
Advanced tickets for Halloween at Hickman Park are priced £3.50 adults and £2 children, and are available from the Civic Hall box office (based at Wolverhampton Art Gallery). On the night tickets cost £4.50 adults and £3 children.
The event is backed by Signal 107 with entertainment from Dicky Dodd and his team.
Councillor John Reynolds, City of Wolverhampton Council Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: "The evening will provide great family fun and promises a spectacular firework display.
"We are pleased to again be hosting a Halloween event at Hickman Park."
People are encouraged to dress up as ghouls, ghosts and witches and take along their pumpkins.
A dozen cauldrons will be lit before an impressive firework display wows the crowd.
The best fancy dress will win a prize with categories for under 8s, under 16s and best adults.
