Books aren't the only place to enjoy poetry - it can now be found on social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

Jasmine will be leading fun, interactive workshops on Saturdays 28 April and 5 and 19 May in which people will be able to learn about the best places to read and watch poetry at the touch of a finger or thumb.

The workshops are sponsored by Poetry on Loan and are free, though participants will need to bring their own smartphone, tablet or laptop.

There are 9 places on each workshop and people can sign up by emailing Jane Seabourne via jseabourne@blueyonder.co.uk. The workshops will take place in the Young Adult section on the ground floor of Central Library from 11am to 1pm on each day.

Rob Johnson, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Chief Librarian, said: "Poetry on Loan have been a great friend to Wolverhampton's libraries over the last four or five years, helping to promote poetry and creative writing across the City, and we are delighted to be hosting these workshops with Jasmine Gardosi."
