It has launched a pop up Craft Café offering a family friendly environment in which people can enjoy delicious home made treats while trying out a wide range of creative activities.
Visitors young and old can have a go at clay play, painting, ceramic painting and collage, with activities starting from just £3 per person. Older children and adults can also choose from a range of imaginative Craftpack projects, created using recycled materials by SCARF, Wolverhampton's Schools' and Communities' Arts Resource Facility.
A selection of cold and hot drinks are on offer including a variety of tea and coffee or hot chocolate, along with homemade cakes, teacakes and scones and child and toddler friendly snacks and drinks.
Councillor John Reynolds, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: "The Craft Café provides an opportunity for our visitors to relax and enjoy a hot drink and a delicious snack while soaking up the atmosphere of this beautiful historic building. It also means we can offer our popular hands on creative activities all year round, instead of just during the school holidays."
The Craft Café is open during Bilston Craft Gallery's normal opening hours, Tuesdays 10am to 4pm, Wednesdays 10am to 7pm, Thursdays 10am to 4pm, Fridays 10am to 1pm and Saturdays 11am to 4pm. All the activities are drop in, no booking is required.
