The hour long challenge saw teams of 4 tackling a pillow bash game, unclimbable ladder, Total Wipeout style big red balls obstacle and an inflatable volleyball game.
Wolverhampton businesses including Wiggle, Express & Star and last year's winners AF Blakemore & Son Ltd entered teams who were all competing to win a month's Platinum Membership each and café vouchers to use at the City of Wolverhampton Council owned leisure centres.
AF Blakemore and Son Ltd successfully defended their title, with teams from Wiggle and Carvers Building Supplies coming in second and third place.
Michael Halford, a member of the winning team, said: "It was a really great day - everyone on our team had a fantastic time.
"We took part and won last year, but this time we found it harder and more competitive."
WV Active's Membership Team Leader, Kerry Williams, who organised the event said it was a huge success: "Our It's aKnockout event was a great team building challenge for businesses to take part in.
"The event was a lot of fun and a huge success with 19 teams competing. Many teams also brought along their colleagues for support."
