The fun begins on bonfire night (Wednesday 5 November) with a storytime for under 5s from 2.30pm to 3pm, a Guy Fawkes themed craft and activity session for children from 3.40pm to 4.30pm and an indoor barbecue from 4.45pm to 6pm.
On Friday and Saturday (7 and 8 November) visitors can learn how to relax and de-stress using the Alexander Technique between 2pm and 4pm, while on Saturday Beano cartoonist Laura Howell will be popping in from 11am to noon to demonstrate some of the tricks of the illustrator's trade.
The celebrations conclude on Tuesday 11 November with a charity coffee morning between 10.30am and 12pm. Residents and staff at Broadway Gardens, an ExtraCare retirement scheme, will be having a "bake off" and selling cakes, tea and coffee in aid of Help For Heroes.
Collingwood Library moved to its new home at Broadway Gardens, Northwood Park Road, Bushbury, from its former premises on The Broadway last November.
The move created a new self service library, enabling customers to take out, return and renew items at the touch of a button, and built on the wide range of facilities already available at Broadway Gardens.
Councillor Elias Mattu, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for Leisure and Communities, said: "Collingwood Library is proving popular with customers in its new home, particularly as they have been able to benefit from a number of extra services which were not previously available, such as free wi-fi and an improved children's area.
"I'd encourage anyone who lives in Bushbury and the surrounding areas to come along to one of these free events which will be taking place to mark Collingwood Library's first anniversary over the next few days, particularly if they haven't visited the library before."
Collingwood Library at Broadway Gardens is open from 10am to 1pm on Tuesdays, 2pm to 5pm on Wednesdays and Fridays and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays.
