The Wolverhampton and Black Country Show will be held at West Park on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July.
The event, which is commonly known as 'The City Show', will feature a host of favourites as well as some new additions. These include:
- the Signal 107 Sound Stage with big screen, which will have its own dedicated field featuring a variety of live entertainment. A talent show will also be held for local performers to strut their stuff
- Banks's Beer Festival will be in West Park serving 16 real ales on tap throughout the weekend
- a ride on miniature steam railway will be chugging its way around the park all weekend allowing people to enjoy free rides
Firm favourites that will also be appearing include the Monster Trucks, Gerrard Naprous & the Devil's Horsemen, Boldog Lings Free Style Motorcross Team, Elaine Hill Sheepdog Display, Fun Fair, Trade Stalls, Puppet Marquee and Black Country Fuchsia and Craft Marquee.
Further additions to the show will be announced in the coming months.
Entrance to the show will cost £3 for adults and £2 for children aged between 2 and 16.
Councillor Elias Mattu, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for Leisure and Communities, said: "The Wolverhampton and Black Country Show is set to be a great family event with something for everyone.
"This year, it is going to be even bigger and better than ever with many new features to go with the much loved favourites.
"With more attractions yet to be announced, we are gearing up for a bumper weekend of fun."
