This is Sexual Health Week, which aims to educate and empower people of all ages to take control of their sexual health.

Councillor Jasbir Jaspal, the City of Wolverhampton Council’s Cabinet Member for Adults and Wellbeing, said: “With sexually transmitted infections on the rise in Wolverhampton, it’s more important than ever to talk about sexual health.

“That’s why we are supporting Sexual Health Week 2024, which is shining a light on the inextricable links between mental health and sexual health and demonstrating the positive impact of early intervention.”

If you need to talk to someone about your sexual health, please visit the Embrace website, use Chat Sexual Health, Embrace’s text message advice service for people across Wolverhampton, or call the Embrace Advice and Guidance line on 01902 481689.

Similarly, If your sexual health is affecting your mental health and you have been experiencing symptoms of increased worry and anxiety speak to someone in confidence by contacting Wolverhampton Talking Therapies or Wolverhampton Sanctuary Hub by calling 0800 802 2288 or texting 07860 065 168.
