A flag raising ceremony was held in St Peter’s Square outside the Civic Centre earlier today to commemorate the service of men and women in the British Armed Forces on behalf of our city and country.
The Mayor of Wolverhampton, Councillor Dr Mike Hardacre, was joined by Deputy Lieutenant Dr Derrick Anderson CBE to raise the Armed Forces Day flag now proudly flying in honour of past, present and future generations of our Armed Forces.
