Councillor Chris Burden, the City of Wolverhampton Council’s Cabinet Member for Education, Skills and Work, said: “Adult Education Wolverhampton has worked hard to deliver high quality teaching to adult learners. Congratulations to students across the city who are receiving their examination results this summer.”
Among those celebrating is GCSE English student Suzanne Burls. She said: “Due to health issues I had failed English at school and wanted to gain the qualification to help better my chances for future employment.
“Studying at Adult Education Wolverhampton has helped with my self-confidence and has given me a great sense of achievement. Having completed my GCSEs makes me feel better equipped to help my daughter with her schoolwork which makes me feel very proud.”
