The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a committed and motivated Site Manager for our warm, nurturing school to ensure our school site is safe and maintained to a high standard. You will need to be experienced in undertaking maintenance tasks and managing your own schedule.
You will be required to manage and undertake planned and reactive site duties to support all school maintenance needs and health and safety requirements and will be responsible for the line management of cleaning staff and supervision and management of external contractors. Flexibility will occasionally be required in the event of evening activities for example, Parent Evenings.
You should:
- have experience and background
- have experience in basic maintenance
- have excellent communication skills
- be confident and engaging with a range of individuals
- have the ability to work effectively within a team
- have knowledge of health and safety
A Full, clean driving licence is essential. Category D1 or equivalent would be an advantage but not essential
