The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Level 3 Learning Support.

This is a unique opportunity to develop a new role within the Lanesfield staffing structure. We are looking for a person with a passion for working with children and a belief that all children can aspire to be the best they can be.

The role is a result of increased level of EHCP needs that focus on developing communication and social and emotional development. The role is not a 1:1 support role. We envisage this role will involve working with a range of pupils using differing programs to support personal, social and emotional development.

You will need to be flexible, reliable, dedicated and have experience of working with children at the appropriate age. You should also be caring, trustworthy and an excellent role model for our pupils with clear motivation to work in a school that seeks to be the best that it can be amongst staff, pupils, parents and governors who are all dedicated to learning and continual improvement.  A grade C or above in GCSE (or equivalent to) Maths and English is essential.

As part of the recruitment process after shortlisting, we will complete an online search of social media websites to identify suitability.

Visits to the School are warmly welcomed, please contact the school office on 01902 558950 to find out available dates.

Lanesfield Primary is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
