This half term – which runs from Monday 20 until Thursday 24 February – all activities will be funded by the City of Wolverhampton Council’s #YES Fund and will include a meal.
The holiday activities are free for all children and young people of school age living in Wolverhampton and consist of sports, holiday camps, fun days out, dance and drama workshops, arts and crafts and much more. Full details are available to book at Yo! Wolves.
Councillor Beverley Momenabadi, the City of Wolverhampton Council’s Cabinet Member for Children and Young People said: “Our Yo! Wolves programme just goes from strength to strength each school holiday.
“We are delighted that, by once again working with city partners and with funding from the council’s youth engagement strategy #YES, we can continue to deliver another fun packed programme during the half term breaks too.
“The 3 main school holidays – summer, Easter and Christmas – are funded primarily from the Department for Education (DfE) as part of the Government’s Holiday and Food (HAF) project. But the Yo! Wolves success speaks for itself and that’s why we are committed to making sure these activities continue for every school break throughout the year including the half term school holidays.
“More youngsters than ever of school age and who live in Wolverhampton are able to join in our school holiday programme. We’re thrilled to be offering the City’s children and young people some brilliant activities organised by a host of fantastic local organisations this February half term.”
With over 1800 free places available, across 50 venues over the 5 day half term break, 31 different organisations are hosting a full range daily exciting activities including food across the city. Book your place now at Yo! Wolves.
