Wolverhampton’s annual firework display will take place in November – with tickets on sale now.

The ‘Night of Colours’ event features 2 firework displays on Saturday 4 November at Wolverhampton Racecourse, Gorsebrook Road. Gates open at 4pm, with the first display for families with children starting at 6.30pm. The second main display begins at 8.30pm.

The evening will also include a family friendly funfair suitable for all ages, a variety of bars and food stalls around Wolverhampton Racecourse.

Discounted advance tickets are now on sale, costing £8 for adults and £6 for children aged 4 to 15. Admission will be free for children under 3.

Once again, the Racecourse will be offering a limited number of its popular ‘stay warm’ packages where people can enjoy the spectacular firework displays from the comfort of a shared hospitality box with their own dedicated bar and toilet facilities. The package, costing £28 per ticket, includes admission, access to a shared hospitality box, balcony for the duration of the evening and refreshments.

Other packages are available including the Stay Warm Horizons Premium viewing and the Private Hospitality Box. More information about these can be found on the website when purchasing your tickets.

Tickets will not be available to purchase at the gate and must be booked in advance. Advance tickets are available until midnight on Saturday 28 October.

Director of Communications and Visitor Experience, Ian Fegan said: “We are looking forward to this year’s firework display which promises to be a fun event for all the family. With the Night of Colours theme, people are encouraged to dress up in as many of your favourite colours as possible.

“I’d encourage you all to book your tickets now - as we know, this is a very popular event and tickets are likely to sell quickly.

“As ever, I would urge people to attend professionally arranged fireworks displays like this one at the Wolverhampton Racecourse rather than attempting to light fireworks at home which can be dangerous and cause injuries.”

Paul Vesper, Executive Director of Wolverhampton Racecourse, added: “We are thrilled to announce that this year's Fireworks Night is brighter than ever with our mesmerizing ‘Night of Colours’ theme.

“Get ready to embark on a vivid journey of enchantment and unity as we illuminate the sky and bring our community together in a vibrant celebration of light and togetherness."

Advance tickets are available from Wolverhampton Fireworks at the Racecourse. Parking on site costs £8 per car and must be booked in advance.
