The 500 Service has extended its bus route to include an additional stop at Great Brickklin Street, just outside the city centre.
The free 500 city centre bus service travels around the city centre on market days providing visitors with easy access to key locations in the city.
Leader of City of Wolverhampton Council, Councillor Roger Lawrence, said: "The free bus service has operated for 7 years and is well loved by its regular passengers. As our city is expanding, it only made sense to extend the bus route to accommodate commuters' needs."
Councillor Steve Evans, Cabinet Member for City Environment at City of Wolverhampton Council added: "The new route will greatly benefit visitors who rely on public transport, especially as the Westside development comes to light in 2020."
The free bus is a modern, low floor easy access vehicle that accommodates wheelchairs, shopping trolley bags, pushchairs and buggies.
The bus operates on market days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and departs from Wolverhampton Bus Station at 9.40am, running every 30 minutes until 2.30pm.
Bus stops include; Wolverhampton Bus Station (Stand G), Lichfield Street, Darlington Street, Salop Street, Pitt Street, Cleveland Street, Bilston Street and Great Brickkiln Street.
The free service has been operating since Wolverhampton's new Bus Station opened in April 2011.
