City of Wolverhampton Business Week is this year holding an event aimed at inspiring women into business.

Free specialist support for women will be on offer from Access to Business advisors to help grow a business or become self employed.

Attendees can also hear from women who have been there and done it, and network over afternoon tea.

Places can be booked now at the 'Inspiring Women into Business' event on Monday 25 September, from 11.30am to 2.30pm, at Wolverhampton Racecourse, Gorsebrook Road, WV6 0PE.

Access to Business Chief Executive, Josie Kelly, said: "We are delighted to be offering our expert advice and support to women through this event during Business Week.

"Hopefully attendees will go away confident in what they want to achieve in the business world."

Jan Denning, Wolverhampton Racecourse Commercial Director and speaker, added: "I urge all women in the city in business or wanting to become self employed to attend this dedicated event aimed at building the confidence of women entrepreneurs.

"The racecourse works closely with City of Wolverhampton Council on many initiatives throughout the year and it was an easy decision to be a part of the 'Access to Business - Inspiring Women into Business' event.

"I am looking forward to sharing some of my experiences as a woman in business and networking with like-minded people."
