Local Elections
There are no scheduled local elections taking place in Wolverhampton in May 2025 as it is a fallow year. The next scheduled local elections for Wolverhampton will take place in May 2026.
Postal Voting Rule Changes
Due to the changes brought in by the Elections Act 2022, a postal vote arrangement can last up to three years.
If you had a postal vote arrangement in place before these new rules, you will continue to receive a postal vote until 31st January 2026. If you would like to continue voting by post after this date, you will need to reapply. The quickest way to reapply is online at: www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote
Electoral Services will be making contact with all postal voters that this change applies to by post and email inviting them to reapply if they wish to continue voting by post.
