City of Wolverhampton Council's Economic Inclusion team have 2 employment and enterprise events coming up in the city.

The council's own agency, YOO Recruitment, is holding a recruitment drive at Low Hill Community Centre, Kempthorne Avenue, between 1pm and 3pm on Wednesday 21 October, to fill temporary vacancies with the council.

Opportunities include passenger transport escort, fitness instructor, administration, cleaning and catering positions.

To register you will need to take along a copy of your CV.

The Economic Inclusion Service has also teamed up with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), City of Wolverhampton College, Wolverhampton Council Cleaning and Catering Department, YOO Recruit, and the Princes Trust to deliver the Fast Track into Cleaning programme.

The free intensive 2 week course is for anyone aged over 19, unemployed and on benefits.

They will receive work related training, work experience and registration to YOO Recruit.

An information/registration drop in session is being held at The Old School, 73 Dudley Road, WV2 3BY, between 10am and 1pm on Monday 2 November.
