Become a children and family support volunteer
Our volunteer service has been set up to provide friendly support for children, young people and their families/carers.

How to become a volunteer
We are currently recruiting. If you are interested in applying for a position as a volunteer driver then please contact Lisa Sidaway, Volunteer Co-Ordinator on telephone: 01902 556703 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
How are volunteers chosen?
If you contact us and we think you may be suitable we will need to interview you.
If you are successful at interview then we will need to carry out checks on you, including a CRB police check.
The role of the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) is to reduce the risk of abuse by ensuring that those who are unsuitable are not able to work with children and vulnerable young people.
Once the above has been completed and you are accepted as a volunteer you will be given:
- first rate essential training
- regular supervision
- out-of pocket expenses
