People are invited to visit the schemes at Showell Court in Low Hill and Bushfield Court in Bilston next week to see for themselves facilities available at each site.
The schemes are designed for people aged 55 and over who want to maintain their independence and their own accommodation, but who may require some help on hand to do so.
Each scheme offers excellent accommodation featuring individual apartments with their own bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens, along with communal services such as a restaurant, lounge, gardens and hairdressers. Staff are also on hand 24 hours a day to provide care and support.
Showell Court, which is operated by Accord, is on Othello Road, Low Hill, and will be open on Tuesday 27 March. Visitors are invited to drop in between 10am and 4pm, and guided tours of the scheme will take place at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Bushfield Court, run by The ExtraCare Charitable Trust, is on Oxford Street in Bilston and will be open on Wednesday 28 March from 11am to 2pm, with visitors invited to drop in at any point during these times to see the day opportunities available there.
James Beattie House on Foley Avenue in Tettenhall, also operated by The ExtraCare Charitable Trust, opened its doors to the public last week.
Councillor Sandra Samuels OBE, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Adult Services, said: "We want to enable as many people as possible to live independently for longer, and extra care housing schemes such as Showell Court, Bushfield Court and James Beattie House are a good option for people who want to maintain their independence but want the reassurance of having help to hand should they need it."
