It hosted a Christmas craft session at Crafty Happenings in Penn, where carers made Christmas wreaths. Meanwhile, 14 young carers were treated to an afternoon at the pantomime when they went to the Grand Theatre to see Snow White.
Councillor Jasbir Jaspal, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Adults and Wellbeing, said: "Caring can be a hugely rewarding experience, but at the same time it is often challenging for carers to be able to look after their own well being.
"These events were an excellent opportunity for carers to come together and relax away from their caring role.”
She continued: "The pantomime was magical; several of the young carers had never been to the theatre before and they absolutely loved it."
The Carer Support Team has been helping families in Wolverhampton for over 20 years, providing practical information, advice and guidance, Carer's Assessments, benefits advice, emotional support, training and more.
In September, it launched the city's all age carer support service, and now provides help and guidance to young carers aged between 5 and 18, as well as adults.
