The City of Wolverhampton will be in the spotlight at the UK Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) next week as it showcases its ‘bold and ambitious’ regeneration plans.

The Invest Wolverhampton team will be based in the West Midlands Growth Company Pavilion, promoting the region and city to potential investors, funders, developers and housebuilders.

3 key sessions linked to Wolverhampton schemes at UKREiiF, taking place in Leeds between 21 to 23 May, are:

  • Wolverhampton - City Centre Growth Through New Urban Living on Wednesday 22 May (12.15pm to 12.45pm) which will offer insights into plans for new homes, vibrant communities, and economic growth from the panel of speakers joining the city council including Maggie Grogan, Muse Managing Director, Tim Heatley, Capital&Centric Co-Founder, and Jo Nugent, Homes England Director of Markets, Partners & Places.
     
  • Delivering the West Midlands Investment Zone on Wednesday, 22 May (11.15am to 12pm) where City of Wolverhampton Council Chief Executive Tim Johnson and other government leaders will explore the transformative power of collaboration in regional growth and the role Wolverhampton's Green Innovation Corridor will play in shaping the city's future.
     
  • Embracing Complexity to Unlock Brownfield Land on Tuesday, 21 May  (12.45pm to 2pm) which will be led by Wavensmere Homes, with their Managing Director, James Dickens sharing insights into the transformation of derelict sites into vibrant, sustainable communities. Plus, the unveiling of their ambitious £150m plans for Wolverhampton Canalside South. The panel includes Richard Lawrence, City of Wolverhampton Council Director of City Development, and Laura Shoaf CBE, Chief Executive at West Midlands Combined Authority.
